The responsibility of building a solid democratic Nigeria falls on all Nigerians. It should not be seen as the sole concern of those in leadership positions alone. It is therefore healthy for the socio–political space to be expanded for multi– citizenry participation. This approach will undoubtedly enrich the governing process and elicit the necessary framework that facilitates and propels the enabling environment for peace, growth, and development. However, the major challenges have been the modalities of organizing the different stakeholders to provide the requisite knowledge-base and the appropriate innovative private-public-partnership models that facilitate development goals.
